Steel Fire Equipment was founded by Ron Steel in 1958. Mr. Steel started by filling extinguishers from the trunk of his ‘53 Ford. Today Steel Fire operates out of a modern, 60,000 square foot facility located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada with two chemical mills on site. No longer in the service business, Steel Fire has grown to be the largest Canadian manufacturer and wholesaler of ULC listed recharge chemical, replacement parts and accessories. Steel Fire continues to be owned and operated by Ron Steel and his son, Jason Steel, servicing Canadian companies coast to coast, as well as US, Mexico, Caribbean and other export markets.
